  • CSI-Day Celebration

    March 06, 2024

    On 6th March 2024, the CSI Student Branch, MUST in association with CSI Lakshmangarh Chapter hosted a Placement Talk from 5 pm to 7 pm, inviting students from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years of the CSE department. This in-house event served as a transformative opportunity for attendees to engage directly with seasoned seniors in a discussion regarding placement readiness strategies.

    The event had speakers from the passes out seniors who had secured positions in esteemed companies like American Express and Barclays. These speakers shared their invaluable experiences, detailing their preparation methods and journey towards securing desired placements.

    Arsh Goyal, in collaboration with CSI Student Branch MUST, launched the "6 Companies : 30 Days Challenge with Arsh Goyal" on 1st January 2024. This ground breaking initiative is meticulously designed to enhance participants' problem-solving skills and prepare them for esteemed software developer roles, internships, and full-time positions within the tech industry.

    This collaboration reflects a synergistic effort to empower students with invaluable insights and guidance. This challenge included frequently asked questions in company’s coding round.     September 15 , 2023

    On the occasion of Engineer's Day, i.e., 15th September 2023, which is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, an orientation program was organized by CSI Student Branch - Utkarsh, at the School of Engineering and Technology, Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh.

    The orientation event began with Saraswati Vandana followed by Kulgeet of Mody University. Dr. Rajeev Mathur, the director of Mody University of Science and Technology, Dr. Prateek Bhanti, the dean of SET, and Dr. Anand Sharma, Faculty Coordinator were among the dignitaries present.

    On November 28th, the Utkarsh-Student Branch of CSI, Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh organized a captivating workshop on the topic "Exploring Career Paths" from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The speakers for the event were Ms Aditi Singh and Ms Deepansha Singh.

    UTKARSH - CSI Student Branch, MUST Lakshmangarh organize a Coding session on 28 August 2021 and 4 September 2021. The participants were made acquainted with the coding platforms like hackerrank, hacker earth, leetcode, etc. Seniors guided the students to make their accounts on these platforms and how to effectively use them for coding.

    The participants were told to start with the 30 days of code in their preferred programming languages on hackerrank and report the seniors about the progress in the same. In continuation of that the participants were made familiar with different important tools for a Computer Science professional like LinkedIn and Github.

    CSI Lakshmangarh Chapter and PepCoding, Delhi organized a webinar on HOW TO PREPARE FOR PRODUCT BASED COMPANIES USING FREE RESOURCES? for the aspirants of campus placement on October 18, 2020.

    This webinar provided the insights about getting placed in a product based company even if students are not studying in a top notch engineering college of India like IITs/NITs. This webinar was conducted for all B.Tech./MCA/M.Tech. students of any stream and any year. Around 152 students have participated in this event.     Information is the oil of 21st century, and analytics is the combustion engine and therefore on the ocassion of engineer’s day and the completion of 2 years of CSI Lakshmangarh chapter, Utkarsh, the technical society of college organized a webinar on Data Analytics in association with DUCAT.

    Mr. Avinash talked about how to use different techniques and methods to process and use the raw data in microsoft excel. He also provided an insight on how to use different methods like graphs, tables to make data look visually good too. Students also learnt the use of pivot tables provided by excel to compact the information and display everything that’s necessary.

    CSI Student Branch, MUST Lakshmangarh organized a Coding Competition in School of Engineering and Technology, Mody University on the November 11, 2019.

    More than 50 enthusiastic participants attended the session. The participants were given one hour to solve the given problems. The questions were designed to challenge the students and promote out of the box thinking, problem skills, and analytical thinking. There was turn up from first, second and third year as well, each year was given different questions according to their level.

    CSI Student Branch, Mody University of Science and Technology organized a Technical session on Digital Forensics on 19th October, 2019. The session was conducted by Mr. Siddharth Dangi, Assistant Professor in Forensics Department in Mody University. Great number of enthusiastic students attended the session. Initially, the fundamental basics of digital forensics and its importance in the field of crime study was explained.

    Overall, the entire session was quite engaging; students came up with some interesting queries which were answered very well by speaker. Students who attended the session were quite inspired by this new topic.

  • Tech-Quiz

    September 3, 2019

    CSI Student Branch, MUST Lakshmangarh organized a tech-quiz event on September 3, 2019. The event commenced by the arrival of various students from I and II year in which introduction of CSI, its recruitment procedure and its benefits were discussed. It was followed by the ‘Technical Crossword Puzzle’ in which all the students participated actively. The students who scored highest were qualified for the next round.

    The following round was a Rapid Fire round where the 24 qualified students were checked by their knowledge regarding latest technology. The event was concluded with prize distribution to the best scoring students of the last round.

    August 10-11, 2019

    CSI Student branch, Mody University organized a Cyber Awareness Camp on August 10-11, 2019. They were told about the fundamental basics of coding and discussed the importance of competitive programming.

    On the second day of the camp, the participants witnessed two sessions on web development and cyber security respectively. The first part of the session introduced the students about the fundamentals of web development and designing including CSS, HTML, Bootstrap and Full Stack Development (UI & UX).     During the seminar, Prof. S. L. Soni presented an expert talk on energy conversion and its management. He discussed the ways to utilize energy for I C engine in productive manner.   • Workshop on Big Data-Hadoop

    A Big Data - Hadoop workshop was organized by Utkarsh-Student Branch of CSI, MUST, under the guidance of Dr. Anand Sharma exclusively for the CSI student members on Thursday 19th April 2018 in LG34. The workshop was carried out in two sessions: Pre-lunch from 8:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and post-lunch from 2:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The session was taken by trainers from GoEduHub Technologies, Jaipur, out of which one was an alumni of Mody University.

    Around 40 students participated in the same and they were awarded with certificates and a much greater experience.

  • C++ Workshop

    February 25-26, 2018

    Utkarsh-The student Branch of computer society of India organised a two day workshop on C++ programming and OOPS concepts, on the 25th and 26th of February at the College of Engineering and Technology, Mody University, Lakshmangarh. It was completely free of cost and open to all students. The workshop was conducted by the 2nd and 3rd year members of Utkarsh. Approximately 60 students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd year participated in the workshop.

    Students from 1st and 2nd year learned a new programming language while the 3rd year was able to revise their concepts of OOPS and C++.
